September 16, 2025: Franklinville, NC 27233 Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Providence Grove improves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Wheatmore lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against West Davidson (Lexington, NC)
Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. East Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
