In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Lutheran Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Valor Christian Eagles.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Palisade (Palisade, CO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Palisade was nudged by Durango (Durango, CO), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles face the Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO) in a test, on Thursday, September 18. Valor Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 9-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Westminster (Westminster, CO).
