Ohio High School Soccer - Catholic Central toppled by Middletown Christian
September 16, 2025: Franklin, OH 45005 Middletown Christian Eagles (Franklin, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Middletown Christian moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Yellow Springs (Yellow Springs, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Metro Buckeye outing on Thursday, September 18. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 4-3. Yellow Springs 3-3 in their recent non-league outing against Greenon (Springfield, OH)
Next up, the Irish confront the Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 23. Catholic Central will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Greyhounds go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 2-2 league Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH).
