Arizona High School Soccer - South Ridge knocks off West Phoenix
September 16, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85043 In Tuesday's league outing, the host South Ridge Mavericks soccer squad scored a tight 7-1 victory over the West Phoenix Eagles.
The Mavericks (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage Academy Gateway (Queen Creek, AZ). The Heroes go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Heritage Academy Gateway got by BASIS - Scottsdale (Scottsdale, AZ), 7-3, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Mission Heights Prep Phantoms (Casa Grande, AZ) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. West Phoenix will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Phantoms come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Alta Vista (Tucson, AZ).
