September 16, 2025: Danbury, TX 77534 The Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting O'Connell Buccaneers (Galveston, TX), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to Louise for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Danbury will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Kenedy (Kenedy, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 16-10.
With the loss, O'Connell drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Legacy Christian Academy (Beaumont, TX) to confront the Warriors in a TAPPS 2A District 8 match on Tuesday, September 23. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 4-0. Legacy Christian Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Community Christian (Orange, TX)
