Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Superior Spartans (Superior, WI), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Denfeld (Duluth, MN). The Hunters come into the Lake Superior challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Denfeld lost by Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans face the Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Superior will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record.
