Texas High School Volleyball - Kermit bounced by Ropes

Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (21-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Olton (Olton, TX). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region I District 2 challenge with a 9-14 record. In their last challenge, Olton was beaten by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crane for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Kermit will face a Cranes squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Reagan County (Big Lake, TX). The Cranes record now stands at 9-11.
