Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs (Hays, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Russell Broncos (Russell, KS), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Thomas More Prep-Marian upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Oakley (Oakley, KS) to meet the Plainsmen in a Mid-Continent challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a record of 18-0. Oakley won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Smith Center (Smith Center, KS)

Next, the Broncos meet the Ellinwood Eagles (Ellinwood, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Russell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Sterling (Sterling, KS).
