Indiana High School Volleyball - Western over Tri-Central

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) and the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), observed Western's volleyball team top Tri-Central by a count of 3-0.

The Panthers (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN). The Braves go into the non-league battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Maconaquah dropped by Southwood (Wabash, IN), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Trojans now own a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Culver Community for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Tri-Central will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-9.
