Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting United Longhorns (Laredo, TX), 42-14 in a non-league test.

With the win, Boerne-Champion improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Chargers host El Campo (El Campo, TX) to confront the Ricebirds in a non-league test on Friday, September 24. The Ricebirds go into the test with a record of 3-1. El Campo won 70-21 in their recent non-league test against Wharton (Wharton, TX)

With the loss, United moves to 0-4 on the season. The Longhorns travel to United South (Laredo, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 30 test on Friday, September 24. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-3. United South lost 39-21 in their recent non-league test against Central Catholic (San Antonio, TX)
