September 17, 2021: Stuart, VA 24171 The Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) football edged the visiting Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA), 34-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars face the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) in a Piedmont bout, on Friday, September 24. Patrick County will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 46-31 non-league win over Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC).
The Cavaliers (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Hawks enter the Dogwood bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Gretna was nudged by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 43-6, in a non-league bout.
