In their next game, the Pioneers face the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 24. Notre Dame will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 52-25 non-league win over Barbe (Lake Charles, LA).
