September 17, 2021: DeSoto, MO 63020 The DeSoto Dragons football team (DeSoto, MO), was ripped 62-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Festus Tigers (Festus, MO)
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO). The Hawks come into the Mississippi Area - Red challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Hillsboro trounced North County (Bonne Terre, MO), 42-7, in a league challenge.
The Dragons now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fredericktown for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 24. DeSoto will meet a Black Cats team coming off a 21-14 league loss to Perryville (Perryville, MO). The Black Cats record now stands at 0-4.
