Washington, DC High School Football - Riverdale Baptist trounces Richard Wright Public Charter School
September 17, 2022: Washington, DC 20024 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Riverdale Baptist Crusaders football squad scored a big 48-0 victory over the Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans.
In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA B match, on Friday, September 23. Riverdale Baptist will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 54-0 non-league win over Brashear (Pittsburgh, PA).
The Spartans (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Southern (Harwood, MD). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Southern was crushed by Seaford (Seaford, DE), 41-10, in a non-league match.
