September 17, 2022: New Kent, VA 23124 The James River Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host New Kent Trojans to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory for a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. James River will meet a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
The Trojans (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Ambassadors enter the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Norfolk Christian nipped Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
