The Lexington Minutemen held off the visiting Shelby Whippets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Minutemen now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison Comprehensive for a test on Thursday, September 29.

The Whippets (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Spartans enter the test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Pleasant held off Galion (Galion, OH), 2-0, in a league test.
