September 17, 2022: Chicago, IL 60634 Chicago Academy Cougars (Chicago, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Golder Panthers (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, September 18. Chicago Academy will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Sentinels enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL).
The Panthers now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Noble Street College Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Golder will meet a Golden Tigers squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
