The Bears (5-1) will now prepare for their game against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs go into the 5A District 2 game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, West Mesa was overwhelmed by Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Bulldawgs (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans go into the 5A District 3 game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Mayfield nipped Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
