Maryland High School Soccer - Leonardtown knocks off Laurel
September 17, 2022: Leonardtown, MD 20650 Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Raiders confront the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 17. Leonardtown will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Delmar (Delmar, DE).
The Spartans now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Flowers for a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Monday, September 19. Laurel will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.
