California High School Volleyball - Sonoma Valley can't hold off Balboa
September 17, 2022: San Francisco, CA 94112 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Balboa Buccaneers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Sonoma Valley Dragons.
The Buccaneers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Liberty Ranch nudged El Dorado (Placerville, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Dragons encounter the Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) in a Vine Valley Athletic League battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Sonoma Valley will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Gauchos come into the battle with a 0-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA).
