Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Fresno Warriors (Fresno, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 17. Golden Valley will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record.

With the loss, Fresno Christian drops to 18-12 on the campaign. The Eagles host Strathmore (Strathmore, CA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, September 17.
