The Virginia Academy Patriots topped the host Granby Comets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Patriots now have a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Run for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Virginia Academy will confront a Stallions team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 1-6.

The Comets (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Bookers enter the Eastern test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Booker T. Washington was knocked off by Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
