September 17, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23322 The Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) volleyball overcame the visiting James River Knights (Buchanan, VA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Great Bridge upgrades its record to 2-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a Southeastern outing on Thursday, September 22. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Lakeland won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA)
The Knights now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Western Branch for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 17. James River will face a Bruins squad coming off a 3-1 league win over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-1.
