The Taft Eagles topped the host Lisle Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Resurrection for a non-league test on Monday, September 19. Taft will confront a Bandits team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Trinity (River Forest, IL). The Bandits record now stands at 2-15.

The Lions (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats enter the Illinois Central Eight test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Wilmington gained a win over Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
