September 17, 2024: Rutland, VT 05701 Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mt. Abraham moves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT) to clash with the Green Knights in a Lake test on Saturday, September 21. The Green Knights come into the test with a record of 3-2. Rice Memorial won 3-0 in their recent league test against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT)
The Raiders now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Anthony for a SVL-A test on Saturday, September 21. Rutland will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.
