North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gray's Creek can't get by Cape Fear
September 17, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28312 The Cape Fear Colts edged the visiting Gray's Creek Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Colts confront the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 19. Cape Fear will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC).
The Bears (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Pinecrest nudged Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
