Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Northwestern Lehigh knocks off Lehighton
September 17, 2024: New Tripoli, PA 18066 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) and the visiting Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA), saw Northwestern Lehigh's soccer squad triumph over Lehighton by a count of 9-1.
The Tigers (10-0) will now prepare for their battle against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Bluejays enter the non-league battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Central Columbia notched a victory over Montoursville (Montoursville, PA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Indians confront the Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) in a Colonial battle, on Wednesday, September 18. Lehighton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 6-0 league win over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA).
