September 17, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70507 Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Comeaux improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 6-5. St. Martinville won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA)
The Bears now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Acadiana for a Division I District 3 test on Saturday, September 21. Carencro will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
