California High School Volleyball - Oakland overwhelmed by Piedmont
September 17, 2024: Oakland, CA 94610 Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Oakland Wildcats (Oakland, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Piedmont advances its record to 1-7 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Alameda (Alameda, CA) to face the Hornets in a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Wednesday, September 25. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 5-6.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakland Tech for a Oakland Athletic test on Thursday, September 19. Oakland will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tennyson (Hayward, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
