Kentucky High School Soccer - Ironton toppled by Menifee County
September 17, 2025: Frenchburg, KY 40322 Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Menifee County advances its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Morgan County (West Liberty, KY) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 5-5. Morgan County lost 1-0 in their recent league test against West Carter (Olive Hill, KY)
The Fighting Tigers now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Gallia Academy for a Ohio Valley outing on Saturday, September 20. Ironton will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-2.
