In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Lamoille Lancers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Lyndon Institute Vikings.

The Lancers (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Randolph (Randolph, VT). The Ghosts go into the Capital outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Randolph was edged by West Rutland (West Rutland, VT), 4-0, in a league outing.
