Illinois High School Soccer - Nazareth Academy knocks off Joliet Catholic
September 17, 2025: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers to 0 in the Roadrunners non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Roadrunners now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick for a non-league game on Monday, September 22. Nazareth Academy will face a Shamrocks team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL). The Shamrocks record now stands at 2-2.
The Hilltoppers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Corsairs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Carmel was overwhelmed by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
