With the win, Harnett Central improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to meet the Trojans in a challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 11-0. South Johnston won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against West Johnston (Benson, NC)
Next, the Bears meet the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Gray's Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC).
