California High School Volleyball - Basis Independent Silicon Valley bounced by Piedmont Hills

September 17, 2025: San Jose, CA 95126

Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats (San Jose, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Piedmont Hills upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Branham (San Jose, CA) to meet the Bruins in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton challenge on Monday, September 22. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Branham won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA)

Next, the Bobcats meet the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) in a Private School - Bay challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Basis Independent Silicon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA).
