Arizona High School Volleyball - Greenway over Independence
September 17, 2025: Glendale, AZ 85303 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Greenway Demons (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ), observed Greenway's volleyball team top Independence by a count of 3-1.
The Demons (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy (Scottsdale, AZ). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy achieved victory over Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Patriots now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a 5A - Central Valley battle on Tuesday, September 23. Independence will meet a Rams team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Tempe (Tempe, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 2-6.
