September 18, 2023: Moorefield, WV 26836 The Moorefield Yellow Jackets thwarted the visiting Petersburg Vikings football team by a count of 28-6 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Moorefield upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Hampshire (Romney, WV) to face the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Trojans enter the bout with a record of 2-2. Hampshire won 28-8 in their recent non-league bout against Keyser (Keyser, WV)
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV). The Falcons enter the non-league bout with a 4-0 record.
