September 18, 2023: Sparks, NV 89431 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) and the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), saw Churchill County's volleyball squad beat Sparks by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Churchill County upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Greenwave host Dayton (Dayton, NV) to play the Dust Devils in a bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Dust Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Dayton won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
The Railroaders now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Hug for a non-league bout on Friday, September 29. Sparks will play a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
