Missouri High School Softball - Farmington bounces Poplar Bluff
September 18, 2023: Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 Farmington Knights (Farmington, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Farmington will face a Tigers squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Naylor (Naylor, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Poplar Bluff falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Mules host Jackson (Jackson, MO) to face the Fighting Indians in a Class 4 District 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 19. The Fighting Indians enter the challenge with a record of 21-4. Jackson won 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest (Cedar Hill, MO)
