Georgia High School Softball - Lumpkin County gets by Rabun County
September 18, 2023: Tiger, GA 30576 The Lumpkin County Indians got by the host Rabun County Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Indians (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Spartans go into the 3A Region 7 battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, West Hall was edged by Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 11-3, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Gainesville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 19. Rabun County will meet a Red Elephants squad coming off a 16-8 non-league loss to East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Red Elephants record now stands at 0-16.
