September 18, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70815 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Thrive Academy Bulldogs (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA), saw Thrive Academy's volleyball squad nip Broadmoor by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Thrive Academy upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Abramson (New Orleans, LA) to play the Commodores in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 20. The Commodores go into the bout with a record of 5-1.
The Buccaneers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Capitol for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. Broadmoor will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northeast (Pride, LA). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
