In Monday's league battle, the host Newtown Nighthawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Masuk Panthers.

The Nighthawks (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Falcons come into the Southwest-Colonial battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Joel Barlow defeated Pomperaug (Southbury, CT), 3-0, in a league battle.
