September 18, 2024: Smyrna, DE 19977 In Wednesday's non-league game, the Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) football team were victorious over the host Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE), by a tally of 16-6.
In their next game, the Golden Knights face the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 2. Sussex Central will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Sallies enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Salesianum ran past St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE), 28-6, in a non-league game.
