Illinois High School Flag Football - Larkin thwarted by South Elgin
September 18, 2024: South Elgin, IL 60177 South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), 34-14 in a league battle.
With the win, South Elgin improves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Storm travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to play the Hawks in a battle on Saturday, September 21. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 2-7. Bartlett lost 30-20 in their recent league battle against Jacobs (Algonquin, IL)
The Royals now have a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Libertyville for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. Larkin will play a Wildcats team coming off a 22-14 non-league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-4.
