The McClatchy Lions walloped the visiting Sacramento Adventist Capitals flag football team by a score of 40-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions play the Sacramento Dragons (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. McClatchy will attempt to improve on its 13-0 season record. The Dragons go into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 13-6 league loss to Wood (Vacaville, CA).

The Capitals (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against River City (West Sacramento, CA). The Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, River City was ripped by Vanden (Fairfield, CA), 14-13, in a league challenge.
