September 18, 2024: Woonsocket, RI 02895 Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Woonsocket upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Villa Novans host Central Falls (Central Falls, RI) to battle the Warriors in a Division 4 battle on Thursday, September 19. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 1-4. Central Falls lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Central (Providence, RI)
