Florida High School Football - Edgewater sneaks past Apopka
September 18, 2024: Apopka, FL 32712 The Edgewater Eagles football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Apopka Blue Darters to 39 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wekiva for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 25. Edgewater will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 26-6 non-league loss to Windermere (Windermere, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Apopka drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue darters travel to Ocoee (Ocoee, FL) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-1.
