With the win, Tanque Verde improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hawks host Cienega (Vail, AZ) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Monday, October 21. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 3-3.
The Prospectors now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leading Edge Academy - GEC for a non-league battle on Monday, September 23. Apache Junction will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
