Illinois High School Soccer - Metea Valley toppled by Argo

September 18, 2024: Aurora, IL 60502

Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 8-3 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Argo moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Argonauts travel to Lemont (Lemont, IL) to meet the Lemont HS in a South Suburban test on Thursday, September 19. The Lemont HS come into the test with a record of 8-2. Lemont lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Reavis (Burbank, IL)

The Mustangs now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neuqua Valley for a DuPage Valley test on Friday, September 20. Metea Valley will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.
