September 18, 2024: Shepherd, MI 48883 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) and the visiting Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI), saw Shepherd's soccer squad knock off Lakeview by a count of 2-0.
The Bluejays (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Clare (Clare, MI). The Pioneers enter the Northern Michigan - West battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Clare by Bullock Creek (Midland, MI), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 19. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 8-0 league win over Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI).
