Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars (Henderson, NV) and the visiting Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV), observed Pinecrest Academy Cadence's volleyball team hold off Lincoln County by a count of 3-2.

The Cougars (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV). The Pioneers enter the 4A Desert contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Canyon Springs got by Western (Las Vegas, NV), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
